One of my favorite quotes is "I am in love with people I've never met and places I've never been." I am not Jewish, and I actually don't know anyone Jewish :) I'm just a girl who is in love with Judaism and Israel.
ReplyDeleteI became obsessed with World War II and Jewish culture in the fourth grade. I read Night by Elie Wiesel when was in fifth grade and I haven't stopped researching World War II since.

ReplyDeleteYou are Israel. Welcome to the family. Your Savior was Jewish and followed all of His Father's instructions in what Christians call the Old Testament. And He taught us how to do it without being burdened with man-made tradition. The prodigal house of Ephriam (as opposed to the House of Judah, our brothers, the Jews) is returning to our Father.
For more info, read 1&2 Kings, especially chapter 11 and beyond. Then read Hosea that talks about Ephraim being scattered to the winds because of disobedience, but promised to turn back to Him and be regathered in the last days (now). And Ezek 37, particularly beginning with verse 15. And your Savior's own words in Matt. 5:17-19, where He reminds us how important it is that we follow His beautiful, life and blessing giving instructions from the book of Deuteronomy (that he most often quoted from), as well as the rest of the torah.
May you and your family be blessed as you recognize who you are and turn back to Him and His ways as we watch for His return.
